Devon Conway overtakes Babar Azam, and Surya Kumar retains the top spot.

Lahore (Pakistan News, 23 November 2022) Pakistan captain Babar Azam has come fourth in the ICC T20 ranking of batsmen after the latest update.

David Warner scored 106 runs in the final match and reached the 5th position in the ranking due to which he was able to win the player of the series award by scoring 240 runs. Travis Head, who scored 152 runs at the MCG, moved up 12 places to 30th.


Steve Smith finished third on the run-scorers list, his 195 runs moving him three places to seventh. Marcie Labuchin and Mitchell Marsh are also ranked 68th and 84th respectively.

Fast bowler Mitchell Starc has moved up four places to fourth after taking four wickets for 47 runs in the second ODI in Sydney, while leg-spinner Adam Zampa (up eight places to seventh) and Pete Cummins (from 18th to 17th) ) has also increased the rating of bowlers.

Phil Salt and David Mullan have joined the top 100 for England. Salt has moved up six places to the 97th position while Malan has moved up 56 places to the 100th place.


In the ICC T20 Player Rankings, New Zealand opener Dion Conway's knock of 59 in the series-tying final match against India helped them climb to the third position, while Glenn Phillips (from 8th to 7th position) and Tim Southee (from 16th to 14th position) has also benefited.

For India, captain Hardik Pandya's unbeaten 30 in the final match has moved them to joint 50th among batsmen, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar (from 13th to 11th), Arshdeep Singh (from 22nd to 21st) position) and Yuzvendra Chahal (from 48th position to 40th position) have also improved.
