The Facebook post said that free training will be given for 15 days in stick-wielding, one month in knife-wielding, one month in sword-wielding and three months in kung fu, after which the licenses will be issued.
The VHP leader's announcement is against the law that requires any Indian citizen to obtain a license from the relevant state authorities to carry a knife or sword larger than 9 inches and renew it periodically.
